ESG Compliance
Services include technical assistance to businesses as well as auditing services to investors and regulatory authorities on compliance with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) standards. Services may include support on funding applications, E&S impact assessments, E&S due-diligence (ESDD), corporate strategy, compliance reviews, site visits, bridging gaps and capacity building.
Experience working on ~50 projects towards compliance with ESG standards such as the World Bank Environmental & Social standards, representing international investors and EU financial institutions, advising businesses on their sustainability performance.
Impact assessment
Services in environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA, EIA, SIA) include methodological guidance, experts coordination, scoping analysis, impact analysis, risk assessment, development of mitigation measures (ESMP) and monitoring plans. Services can also include fieldwork on environmental baseline and stakeholder engagement, notably social surveys and public hearings.
Extensive experience contributing to impact assessments, permitting processes and acting as a technical reviewer with an interdisciplinary overview, notably in the mining and renewable energy industries as well as in scientific research contexts. Lead of 25+ environmental & social field surveys.
Sustainable tourism
Services shall be tailored to your activity and sustainability ambitions. Advisory services can be provided to any party of the travel industry, such as cruise ships, hotels, tour operators, business travel operators, authorities and destination managers.
Key experience in Greenland, including methodological support to a research project assessing cruise tourism impacts on communities’ well-being, and a technical assistance to a tour operator on its sustainability certification process (upcoming /to be confirmed).
Community Engagement
Services on community engagement aim for stakeholders’ appropriate implication into projects, from planning to operations. It includes support in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies, relationship building, and mediation.
Extensive experience on stakeholder engagement, community safety and well-being throughout my advisory portfolio, from management plans design at the corporate level, to practical engagement with stakeholders. Lead of 80+ community meetings on impact assessments and audits. Development of pro-bono programs with corporate Foundations benefiting communities. Regular stays in East Greenland.
Science Support
Key service consists in being a contact person based in Greenland for research teams. Services may include logisitic support, fieldwork planning assistance, advice on regulations and permits, contribution to data collection and reviews of research projects in regard of the Greenlandic context.
Engineer with experience on climate and glaciers observatories (overwintering in Antarctica for the French Polar Institute), air quality, water quality, noise measurements, biodiversity inventories (EIA baselines and monitoring plans) and soil sampling (training in Svalbard on oil spill monitoring). Voluntary assistance to research fieldwork under guidance on vegetation inventories (Svalbard) and wildlife monitoring and handling (Weddell seals and 4 avifauna species in Antarctica).
